The Construction Career Cluster focuses on professions involved in designing, planning, managing, and executing projects in the built environment, emphasizing sustainable building practices to ensure that structures are both environmentally responsible and resilient. Students will prepare for careers in architecture and engineering to construction management and in skilled trades.

Concentrator Courses

To be a concentrator, you must pass one of the following courses and one explorer course.

Completer Courses

To be a completer, you must pass a concentrator course and enough courses to equal 3.0 credits in this Pathway.

Construction and Structural Systems Pathway

Pathway Chart
Onsite and in a hard hat (sometimes), students in the Construction and Structural Systems Pathway learn the trades involved in building buildings and more. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and construction management, give students an actual step up on the competition.
