Suicide Prevention, Intervention, and Postvention

Youth suicide, a leading cause of death among young people in Utah, is a major public health concern. The Utah State Board of Education provides leadership and technical assistance to districts and charters as they implement effective, evidence-based, sustainable suicide prevention programs. This website offers guidance and resources for implementing suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention in schools and communities.

If you or someone you know is suicidal, please call 1 (800) 273-TALK (8255) or 911 immediately!
