Sec. 1, Introduction / Find a Program

The Special Programs Editor is used for defining the attributes of special programs (such as bilingual education, hearing impaired programs, speech therapy classes, etc.) offered by the district or state as well as federally sponsored Special Education programs. The attributes defined in this module will act as the underlying data for tracking the program history of each student as well as providing an auditing trail for the funding of the special programs.

Most special programs defined here will be used by the Student Program History application to enroll and track students, unless they have been defined as 'Special Education', in which case they can only be processed in the Special Education History application.

1.1 Open the Special Programs Editor
