SIS 2000+ Student Program Recommendations

Last update: 08/26/2000 jmm

Sec. 1, Introduction / Find a Student

Special programs, such as accelerated learning classes for gifted students or Special Education programs for handicapped students, are first recommended for a student by an authorized faculty member or anyone who is concerned, including social workers, parents/guardian, physicians, representatives of others agencies, etc. This is the first step towards enrollment. The Student Program Recommendations program keeps track of these recommendations. As a reference, this interface will also display the history of a student's past enrollment in any special programs, though it is not used to actually enroll or place the student in a special program. The actual enrollment process is executed by two separate interfaces: Student Program History and Special Education History.
