Sec. 4, Schedule a Course / Edit a Schedule Record

In this procedure courses requests will be scheduled in the schedule grid. When a course section is successfully scheduled, a "schedule record" is created in the database. Some attributes of saved schedule records can be edited.

4.1 Select a course request to be scheduled
In the Course Requests list of the Student Schedule Editor screen click on an unscheduled course request until it is highlighted in yellow (Fig. 25).

Click on the Done command button to revert to the main screen and view the schedule grid (Fig. 31). The course's ID number will appear in the grid as scheduled in the appropriate period/cycle/term. The original course request on the left side will turn from red font to black font; signifying that it has been successfully scheduled. The schedule may be viewed by term or by cycle by changing the options in the View field (See Sec. 2). Information (course attributes) about the scheduled course section/segment can be viewed in the gray text box by highlighting the course ID number in the schedule grid.
