SIS 2000+ Student Loader
Step.
5, Load Analysis and Rerun
Once the Master Schedule is built and the students are loaded into classes, the scheduling person must evaluate the results. Various reports are available at this point to be used as analytical tools. The statistics retrieved from the reports will indicate if the loading balance is acceptable.
The scheduling person will also be able to see the teacher and room schedules, available rooms, course/class availability, number of seats available by grade level/period/day, the number of students loaded by grade level/period/day, etc. From this information the scheduler will make compromises and re-process the schedule. In the beginning the compromises are likely to be made in the master schedule, possibly reassigning teachers and periods or creating additional sections, but in the end the student course requests must be changed via the Course Request Editor program.
After the required compromises are made in the Master Schedule Editor and the Course Selection Editor the Student Loader can then be rerun. To save time, the Options may be set so that the Loader only processes the classes and students effected by the changes (See Step 2.1).
5.1 Print Load Analysis Reports
Go to the Schedule Menu and click on the Reports icon button to open the Scheduling Reports Menu (Fig. 25). The illustration below is a sample list of possible available scheduling reports. (The report names are user-defined, so they may be slightly different from site to site.)

All of the above reports may be utilized in the scheduling process but, typically, the following reports used for "load analysis" at this stage:
5.2. Make necessary corrections
After analyzing data from the reports, compromises can be made by changing
course sections around in Master
Schedule Editor program and/or editing student's course requests in
the Course Request Editor.
5.3 Rerun Loader
Rerun the Student Loader and do analysis as many times as needed to
achieve a satisfactory schedule.
