SIS 2000+ UT Excessive Absences/Tardies
Quick Instructions
Last update: 1/21/2000 jmm
|
This report prints a list of students who have more absences or tardies than the number you enter. The report is for internal use only and does not need to be kept for audit purposes. A similar report is available in the Attendance Module -- the report in the Attendance Module also allows you to create a form letter for each individual who is on the list. The form letter includes the parent/guardian name and address plus information about the number of absences received.
Quick, Step-by-Step Instructions
- Attendance | Reports | UT Excessive Absences/Tardies
- Select the term.
- Select the beginning and ending range of dates for which you want the report to count absences or tardies.
- Enter the number of absences or tardies to be considered excessive. This number defaults to 5.
(NOTE: You can enter the number "0" to obtain a list of all students with their absences or tardies. Entering "0" generates an error window telling you the number must be higher than "0", but the report prints anyway regardless of whether you respond to the error window with "Yes", "No", or "Cancel.")
- Mark the radio button indicating whether you want an Excessive Absence or an Excessive Tardy report.
- Click the Preview or the Print button.
- Click the Quit button to exit the report.
