SIS 2000+ Class Size Quick Instructions Last update: 1/21/2001 jmm

This report is located in the Scheduling module and

is a listing of course sections in the Master Schedule with class enrollment counts for each school day within a user specified date range. A daily running average of the class enrollment is also calculated and printed. This report was originally designed for use in complying with the California Class Size Reduction Act, which sets maximum limits to class sizes in grades K to 3 over a specified range of days.

The user must select the track and the date range to be included on the report. The optional selection criteria include course, course group, faculty, faculty group, and department. The default sorting order for the records reported is by Course Code in ascending order. Each course section is then represented in a sub-grouping by the name of the faculty member teaching the section.

Quick, Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Scheduling | Reports | Class Size
2. Click the Options tab and define options.
3. Click the Select tab and define queries.
4. Click the Sort tab and specify sort order.
5. Click the Preview or the Print button.
6. Click the Quit button to exit the report.
