The body of this report consists of one line per week. The leftmost column
displays the date of Sunday as the first day of the week. Under each
day's header the Attendance codes recorded for each period in the track are
displayed as single characters in a horizontal grouping, one character per
period. If the student is not enrolled on a day or the day is not a school day,
blanks are displayed under the column. A dash ( - ) is displayed for periods in
which the student has no course scheduled. For periods in which a course is
scheduled but no attendance event was recorded, a default place holder character
will be displayed (For example, in a Negative attendance track a (.) period may
be displayed. In a Positive attendance track an "A" may be displayed).
A legend at the bottom of the page translates the Attendance codes used.
Sample of Negative attendance track. Periods (.) represent the default place holder Attendance code of "Present". This student does not have classes scheduled in Period 2, indicated by the dashes ( - ).
