First, create a timeline that represents the target Track. Do this to visualize how Mark Reporting Terms will fit in to the Track and relate to the Track Terms. (Refer to Fig. 4, 'Timeline 1' in the previous section.)
Now copy the Track Timeline again. Then, fill in the other points in the timeline that represent when Marks are to be collected for the courses. Remember that the Timeline Points can follow (be the same as) the Track Term begin and end markers, but they do not have to. (Refer to Fig. 5, 'Timeline 2' in the previous section)
Copy the Timeline again and continue to add in other special Mark Reporting Timeline Points, if necessary, or edit the final version. (Refer to Fig. 6, 'Timeline 3' in the previous section)
Keep this sheet as a reference for the Mark Reporting set-up process that follows. Later, this Timeline will be further embellished with Mark Definitions and Mark Types.
