Technical (Administrative) Setup
Before teachers can use the Gradebook, the SIS 2000+ system administrator must do some preliminary setup. Three tables should be configured in the table editor, teachers (and other authorized staff) should be given permission to the Gradebook Module, and the faculty members should have the proper status flags marked.
Tables
- Execute the Table Editor in the System module.
- Locate the "Mark Set Codes" table (zmarkset).
- Set up the table if it is not already set. Here is a sample:
- Locate the "Mark Type Codes" table (zmarktyp).

- Execute the Faculty Editor in the System module.
- In the "Permissions" tab, locate the Gradebook and grant access to appropriate individuals.
- In the "Status" tab of the Faculty Editor, locate the current status record for the appropriate individuals.
- Mark the "Teacher" checkbox for classroom teachers.
- Mark the "Site Admin" checkbox for those staff members you
want to allow access to all teacher gradebooks.
