2a.1 Determine what is needed to Implement Audio Alarms
- per Workstation
The easiest way to determine what is needed is to let the Policies
module do it for you. From Food Services Administration, open Cafeteria
Policies. Notice the Sound button at the lower right of the screen.
This button will be enabled as shown in Fig. 1 if all sound requirements
are present for this workstation *. Click on the Sound button to play the
audio file associated with the selected Restriction.
* Workstation audio requirements also include speakers

If the sound button is disabled (grayed), that indicates one or more
audio requirements are missing. To determine what is missing:
-
Highlight a Restriction (it is not necessary to place Policies into edit
mode)
-
Click on the disabled sound button
If the Windows Media Player is not installed on the workstation, or
is missing or corrupted, the message in Fig. 2 is displayed.
