Counselor -
Click this command button to assign a counselor for this student. A
"counselor" is different than an "advisor." A counselor is normally a faculty
member assigned to a student for a long range period, such as the duration
of the student's attendance at a particular school site. A student can
only have one counselor at a time. An "advisor" is a faculty member assigned
to a student per track. Therefore, if the student is enrolled in
more than one track at the same time they could have more than one advisor.
Advisor assignments are can be viewed or edited in a student's status records.
See Sec. 7, "Edit 'General' Data".

Restricted Information -
Select what type of information can be released on this student according
to permission granted from parent or guardian - such as "All data and pictures"
or "Data but no pictures", etc.

Home Language -
The language spoken by the primary care giver of this student.
School mailings, announcements, and report card comments are mailed to
the home in this language.

Primary Language -
The language the student speaks most of the time.

Career Plan -
Select a Career Plan, if applicable. For more information, see Career
Plan Editor.

Graduation Requirement -
Select a graduation requirement
that this student will be following. The selections available are according
to district or state policies, defined in the Requirements
Editor application.

Registration Date -
The date the student first entered the district. This date defaults
to match the System Date upon initial enrollment, but it can be edited
at any time.

Graduation Year -
The default year of graduation from high school for this student -
automatically calculated by other processes in the SIS 2000+ database.
If this field may or may not be editable depending in how it is defined
in the Preferences program.

Retain Student -
Check this box if the student is not to be promoted to
the next grade level at the onset of the next school year.

Not Ranked -
Check this box to exclude this student from all ranking
calculations.

Email -
The electronic mail address related to the student, if applicable.

URL -
The Internet address (Uniform Resource Locator) related to the student,
if applicable.
Save data
After making changes, click on the Save command button, or Undo
to cancel all changes since the last save. If no changes were made, use
the Done command to exit the edit mode.
