Last -
Student's last name
-
First -
Student's first name

Middle -
Student's middle name

Sfx -
Suffix to last name, such as "Jr.", etc.

Student ID -
A read-only field displaying the Student Identification number.

Gender -
Male, Female, or Unknown.

Ethnicity -
Make a selection from drop-down list using the field button. Choices
available are defined in the Table Editor program during installation an
configuration of SIS 2000+.

Home Phone -
Student's home telephone number.

Type -
The type of phone number entered in the previous field, such as Residence,
Fax, Group home, etc.

Unlisted -
Check here if the phone number displayed is an unlisted number.

Message Only -
Check here if the phone number displayed is for leaving messages only.

Birth Date -
Student's birthday. The student's age in years and months is automatically
calculated and displayed to right side of this field.

Nickname -
Alternate name for the student (optional).

SSN -
Student's Social Security Number

Last Change -
This is a read-only field that displays the date of the last change
made to the student's data other than Track, Status Entry/Exit Grad,
or Teacher/Advisor.

By -
This is a read-only field displaying the name of the user who made
the Last Change.

Alerts -
A read-only field. Alerts are flags or "reminders" generated by other
procedures within the Student Editor or from other applications in SIS 2000+,
such as Health, Behavior, Student Body Accounting, etc. To view the data
pertaining to an alert generated within Student Editor, such
as "Bus" or "Household", double click on the alert entry in the list while
in the edit mode. A link will be created back to the original form that
contains the relevant data for viewing or editing. (There are no data links
available for alerts generated from other SIS 2000+ applications.)

Legal Bindings -
A memo field for entering legal notes for this student.
Status record fields:
Status records appear as entries in a summary list in the middle of
the screen. They are generated via the Enter and Status command
buttons at the bottom of the screen. These procedures are covered in previous
sections: See Sec. 2, "Enter a New Student",
Sec. 3, "Transfer a Student".
To edit a status record, double click on the target line. See
Sec. 4, "Change or Edit Status / Withdraw
a Student", Step 4.2.1 for further instructions.

Track -
Displays the attendance
track assigned to this student during the Enroll, or Change Status
procedure. (Attendance tracks are defined in the Track Editor program.)

Status -
"Student status." In this context is referring to such terms as Active,
Inactive, or a wide variety of other
user-defined codes.

Entry Date/Code -
Entry Date and Entry Code are usually determined during the Enrollment
process, when adding a new student or transferring an existing student,
or, during the Change Status procedure.

Exit Date/Code -
Exit Date and Exit Code are usually determined during the Change Status
procedure or the Withdraw process.

Grade -
Student's grade level for the selected Track. Determined by the Enrollment
process or the Change Status procedure.

Teacher/Advisor -
The teacher or counselor assigned to the student during the Enrollment
process or Change Status procedure.
Save data
After making changes, click on the Save command button, or Undo
to cancel all changes since the last save. If no changes were made, use
the Done command to exit the edit mode.
