6, Delete an Involvement Record or Penalty
6.1.2 Select the incident to be deleted
Go to the 'Incidents' tab on the main screen of a student's record.
Select the originating incident of the involvement record to be deleted
(Fig. 48).

6.1.3 Execute
Click on Delete command button (or ALT+D on the keyboard).
6.1.4 Confirm deletion
In the dialog box that appears (Fig. 49), select "Yes" to confirm deletion,
or "No" to abort. If "Yes", all data related to the deleted incident, including
Policies and Penalties, will be removed permanently from the Behavior database.

6.2.2 Go to 'Incidents'
From the main Behavior History screen of the selected student, click
on the 'Incidents' tab until it is highlighted in dark blue. All originating
behavioral incidents of the selected student will be displayed in a summary
list.
6.2.3 Select the originating incident
Select the originating incident which generated the penalty to be deleted
by positioning the small black pointer on the correct line (Fig. 50). This
can be done with the mouse or by using the Up and Down arrow keys on the
keyboard.

6.2.4 Activate the edit mode
Click on the Edit command button to activate the first-level edit mode. The four sub tabs that hold the data for this involvement record are displayed. The focus defaults to the 'Involvement' sub tab (Fig. 51).

6.2.6 Execute
Click on the Delete Penalty button.
6.2.7 Confirm deletion
In the dialog box that appears (Fig. 53), answer "Yes" to confirm deletion
or "No" to abort. Deleted penalties will be removed from the summary list
in the 'Penalties' sub tab and the 'Penalties' tab on the main screen.

If the penalty being deleted is associated with a "suspended" attendance code, the attendance records written by that penalty will not be reversed. See Step 5.4.1 for details. |
Click on the Undo command button to go back to the main Behavior History screen.
