Note About Group Attendance
A special entry mode for Groups with students in more than one track:
A Student Group may be composed of students enrolled in more than one track within the school site. When this is the case the 'Select Period' screen (Fig. 1) will appear before the view returns to the 'Attendance Rapid Entry' screen. This 'Select Period' screen will list all tracks that apply to the students in the group.
- Because the Start Period and End Period may not coincide exactly between tracks, an estimated Start Period and End Period must be entered to define a range that will cover the full range of periods between the two tracks for which the attendance data applies. After entering the parameters, click on the Done command button to apply the range, or Cancel to abort.

- The view will revert to the 'Attendance Rapid Entry' screen. The rapid entry screen will be modified for Multiple Tracks group data entry (Fig. 2). It is different from a normal rapid entry screen in that it does not have Start Period or End Period fields showing up front since they have already been defined in the previous 'Select Periods' screen. The Start Period/End Period parameters may be edited, however, by activating the Change Periods command button.
- Enter attendance data, save, review (Fig. 3) and post. The only difference will be the way Start Period/End Period parameters are entered.
