Before the Attendance system can be implemented, several areas of SIS 2000+ must be configured:

The Attendance codes table forms the basis of attendance records. The codes defined in the table include present, absent, and tardy codes. For each code there are attributes defined that control various functions in Attendance, such as when the calculation of attendance is performed, whether a student may be considered on campus, in class, excused, unexcused, and so on. Attributes defined also affect scanning functions and ADA calculations..
