The Utah State Office of Education (USOE) Special Education Services (SES) section provides leadership and support for educators, parents, and students with disabilities receiving special education and related services throughout Utah public schools and communities, in an effort to improve educational outcomes.
To ensure the improvement of education outcomes of students with disabilities, the USOE SES has three priority areas: preschool services in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), post-school outcomes (such as college or career), and effective instruction in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA).
