Superintendent’s
Endorsement |
Utah Principals Academy is pleased to invite principals and assistant principals to participate in the 2000-2001 Fellows Program. This one-year opportunity of professional staff development for active administrators provides new knowledge of state and national educational issues, leadership skills, and association from professional colleagues. Monthly sessions of two days provide rich learning in a retreat setting. Time for discussion, reflection, application to the administrator’s own professional setting are some of the important components of the Utah Principals Academy Fellows Program.
Utah Principals Academy accommodates training, meals, lodging and materials. However, districts generally accommodate with professional development funds or mileage allowance the mileage under 150 miles per seminar. Districts also incur the principal’s salary and substitute expenses during the principal’s participation in the monthly sessions.
