Unusual Testing Situations
1. Persons requiring higher GED Tests scores for admission to a specific post-secondary institution may seek permission to retake the GED Tests by obtaining permission from the State GED Testing Administrator.
2. Persons from foreign countries requiring proof of academic skills or competency for employment, post-secondary of military entrance purposes, etc., but have insufficient or unaccepted proof of such from the country of origin, may take the GED Tests by contacting the State GED Testing Administrator.
3. In any of the above situations, the State GED Testing Administrator needs to be contacted, and:
- The Chief Examiner is to contact the State GED Testing Administrator providing the date that the test-taker will be scheduled to test
- The test-taker’s record in NRSpro.com will be opened allowing for retesting
- Tests are scored as they normally would be.
- The record is relocked by the State GED Testing Administrator upon completion of the testing window.
4. Persons who have lost proof of high school completion may take the GED Tests by obtaining permission from the State GED Testing Administrator.
