There are great opportunities for students interested in social studies, and in an effort to pass this information along, this page will keep the information as current as possible.

Senate Youth

The Hearst Foundation underwrites the United States Senate Youth Program every year.  This program provides two $5,000 scholarships to outstanding high school students as well as a week-long whirlwind tour of Washington, D.C. for the winners.  The Utah competition will be held November 20.  For more information, check the link here: www.ussenateyouth.org
