Change Is Happening!

As you know, greenhouse gases contribute to changes in the temperature of Earth. Many people have expressed an interest in determining the changes are currently occurring around the globe and how they affect Earths systems.Your challenge now will be to research one of the following global changes and determine how it may be a positive or negative influence on Earth systems.

Possible Topics:

  • Global warming
  • Solar fluctuation
  • Volcanic explosions
  • Slash and burn operations

Remember to consider the following in your research:

  1. What is the problem associated with this global change?
  2. On which Earth systems is this global change a positive influence?
  3. On which Earth systems is this global change a negative influence?
  4. What part of this global change is due to human activity?

Sources you may use for your research include:

Share your research with a parent, teacher, friend, or classmate. You may choose to use video, Web pages, multimedia presentations, and posters. Good luck!
