Cause and Effect

We have discussed the types of landscape features that can form from tectonic processes and plate movements. Let's take a moment and review what can form from the motion and interaction of the tectonic plates.

Below is a summary of the types of boundaries and their affects. The four types of boundaries are on the left. The events associated with plate boundaries create different landforms and can affect the climate. Click on the drop down list arrows to see the relationships that exist.
