| To show how you
understand the water cycle, you should do a project. This could be a poster,
diagram, a model, or a computer presentation from PowerPoint or Apple Works.
If you have access to a computer with the PowerPoint program (or some other slideshow software), you can make a nice presentation as follows:
Include graphics and explain what each of these parts
of the water cycle mean. |

| A diagram needs to show the water cycle with the parts labeled. |
sample drawing |

| A poster can have cotton clouds and bright
yellow lightning. Be sure to draw and label each part of the water cycle.
A large container like a cake pan with a lid can be used to make a model. Put some warm water inside to represent a lake. Add some land and mountains made out of clay. Tip the pan by placing a book under one end. Cover the lid and place a bag containing some ice cubes on top of the lid. Observe if the warm water evaporates and condenses under the lid and falls as precipitation. |
