Purpose and Objective

The Utah State Office of Education has convened a Mathematics Steering Committee for the purpose of developing a Master Plan to facilitate the opportunity by which all Utah’s students might reach their academic and career potential.  Providing  graduates who are mathematically well prepared to compete in today’s high-tech, complex, and competitive world will greatly increase Utah’s potential for economic  development.
