Licensure & Endorsements

Endorsements

Endorsements are to enable educators to become qualified and approved to teach in areas where they are not currently certified and/or to add a specialty area to their teaching credentials and professional expertise for the benefit of themselves, their students, colleagues, and school community. The following endorsements are avalible in the fine arts:

  • American Orff-Schulwerk Association Music and Movement Education
    Learn engaging ways to teach music making and movement while earning credit toward Orff Schulwerk certification by attending Teacher Training Courses

    Kindermusik International is the world's leading publisher of music and movement curricula for parents and their children, ages newborn to 7 years old.

  • Musicgarten
    Musikgarten is an early childhood music education company specializing in training teachers. The Musikgarten curricula covers children from birth to age nine, offering parents a complete nine-year developmental plan. National Board Certification

National Board Certification concentrates education reform in the classroom—where teaching and learning takes place. National Board Certification is a demonstration of a teacher’s practice as measured against high and rigorous standards.
