Performance Assessment

Dance

High School Dance Festival
Held annually during the 2nd semester for students in grades 9th – 12th grade. This is an exciting day where teachers and students participated in classes, adjudication sessions, and a gala performance. Choreographer awards are presented for outstanding work.

Music

Solo and Ensemble Festival
This is a High School Music Festival held at the region and then state levels for students in 9th -12th Grade, vocal and Instrumental. For more information visit UHSAA Site  (Scroll down to section III)

Theatre

Utah High School Activities Drama Festival
This is a high school drama festival for region and then state drama in (1A-2A) Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Mono-acts, Pantomime, and Scenes from Plays (3A-4A-5A) Dramatic Monologues, Humorous Monologues, Classical Scenes, Contemporary Scenes, and Pantomime. Shakespeare Competition
This event is for high school and middle school students to perform scenes or dances that are adjudicated by theatre and dance professionals. Students and teachers may also attend workshops for university credit.

Visual Art

Visual Utah All-State High School Show
This is a juried competition for juniors and seniors in high school that includes both 2D and 3D art
