Registration: 

All registrations must be received by Oct 15, 2004.  Register early because in-depth sessions are limited to 40 participants per grade level on Friday.  Participants may register for one or two days.

Lodging: 

Reserve your room(s) at the hotel immediately to guarantee yourself accommodations.  If problems arise, the reservation can be cancelled within the hotel's regulations.  Tell the agent you are with the USOE “The Gold Standard” when you ask for the state rate ($63+tax per night).  There are two hotels where participants can receive the state rate for this conference.  Marriott Hotel reservation number: 1-888-825-3163; Plaza Hotel reservation number: 1-866-394-9400.

Cost:

Incentives: 

  1. Bring a Full School Team of a principal + 7 teachers and pay $300 for the entire conference
  2. Bring a School Team of a principal + 3 or 4 teachers and pay $190 for the entire conference. 
    A smart plan might be assigning team members to various grade levels – or artform focus.  For schools under 10 teachers, a School Team = a principal +1 or 2 teachers, and pay $75 for entire conference.
  3. First team from each district to return completed registration forms and fees will receive $20 in teacher resources.

Admission:

$25 per day per person or $50.00 for both days.  Make checks/money orders payable to:  UAAHE  -- (not USOE!).    Checks written to USOE will be returned for correction.  No refunds after Oct 25th

Credit: (An NCLB Content Area Inservice)

Re-Licensure points:  One point per hour of attendance.

State Inservice Credit: 

    • 1.0 total semester hour when successfully completed attendance sheet (minimum 14 hours) and classroom implementation report part I are received by Febrary 1, 2005.
    • 2.0 semester hours of USU credit available with completion of assignment by April 1, 2005, college level work expected.  Recording fee required at registration.
