Informational meetings about the English Language Learner Family Literacy Centers will be held:

Individuals may attend either meeting in person, via teleconference, or via online conference (WIMBA).
We will be sending out WIMBA invitations via email soon. WIMBA is an online conferencing tool. You will need headphones to hear the presenter. Just click on the link sent to you in your invitation. This link takes you to a wizard that takes you through some steps to make sure you computer is set up properly. You will have to allow pop-ups for this conference. Once you are through the wizard, you will be taken to a logon page. Only put your name in at the top. Choose "next" and you are all done. Please do not fill out the bottom portion that has a userid and password.

Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE)
Teachers will learn to use Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE) to teach content English and to make content comprehensible to all students. Teachers must be registered by their Principals or Directors with Wanda Gocha at: wanda.gocha@schools.utah.gov.
