Six State Grants to Promote Rigorous Career and Technical Education

The U.S. Department of Education announced today the award of six state grants under the Promoting Rigorous Career and Technical Education Programs of Study (POS) Program. The grants will be awarded for up to four years, with approximately $1.5 million available for the first year of the projects. Funding for years 2 through 4 is subject to the availability of funds and to a grantee meeting the requirements of its grant award.
