Utah High School to College and Career Pathways Educator's Guide The Utah High School to College and Career Pathways Educator’s Guide will help you implement educational practices built on the foundations of Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships - what we call “the new 3 Rs.” The Pathways (within eight Areas of Study) are rigorous programs of study to assure strong academic and technical preparation.  Pathways create relevance of learning, connecting school work to work beyond high school, and validate the relationships between students and the educators who can be their advocates and mentors as they transition to postsecondary options.  Pathways ensure that students will be prepared to take advantage of the full range of postsecondary options, including on-the-job training, certification programs, two- and four-year college degrees and the military.

The High School to College and Career Pathways Educator's Guide is a resource for teachers and administrators as they begin to implement Pathways. The Guide is available via download, or if you are an educator in Utah and would like a hard copy, contact susan [dot] thomas [at] schools [dot] utah [dot] gov (Susan Thomas).
