Basic Training
Basic Training is a one-day workshop for secondary school counselors and secondary school administrators that focuses on effective Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Program delivery components. The goals and objectives of this training are to:

1) come to a common understanding of the elements of an effective Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Program,

2) develop shared meanings about the Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Program between administrators and counselors, and

3) create synergy between new and old information.

Beginning with the 2008-09 school year, Basic Training will be available for elementary counselors and administrators with the same goals and objectives delivered in terms of elementary school settings.
