Standard 1:
Students will be knowledgeable about the world of work, explore career options and relate
personal skills, aptitudes, and abilities to education planning and future career decision making.
Standard 2:
Analyze education, training and career opportunities in various Career Pathways.
Objective 1:
Students will explore education and training in the High School to College and Career Pathways.
Standard 6:
Students will examine workplace tasks and concepts in Family and Consumer Sciences.
Objective 1:
Examine attributes and issues related to family life and the skills needed to enhance independent
living.
Standard 6:
Students will examine workplace tasks and concepts in Family and Consumer Sciences.
Objective 2:
Identify aspects related to the care and development of children.

HEALTHCARE CAREERS : 5-6 DAYS
Standard 7:
Students will examine workplace tasks and concepts in Health Science.
Objective 2:
Explore the relationship and impact of healthcare on the family and consumer.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: 2 DAYS
Standard 8:
Students will examine the workplace tasks and concepts in Information Technology.
Objective 2:
Explore the relationship and impact of information technology and digital media on the family and
consumer.
MARKETING: 5 DAYS
Standard 9:
Students will examine the workplace tasks and concepts in Marketing.
Objective 2:
