Program Accountability

The CTE Introduction course affords students a rich opportunity to explore and expand on self-understanding, to expand understanding of career possibilities related to interest, and to develop knowledge and skills for making more prepared career choices.

Grant Applications
In order to receive state CTE funding, the district CTE director must annually submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the coming year. This is a CTE Introduction District Grant Application that identifies the schools and CTE Introduction team leaders committed to providing the CTE Introduction program (due to USOE May 15th of each year).

In order to receive state CTE Introduction funding, all junior high/middle schools providing the 7th grade CTE Introduction program must annually submit a CTE Introduction Implementation Plan during the first rotation of CTE Introduction (due to USOE October 15th of each year). This Plan includes a check-off list of standards and objectives. Schools will keep a copy of this Plan and submit it completed with the End of Year Summary check-off by June 15th each year.  The Plan includes a Proposed Budget in October and a Final Budget at the end of the year. CTE Implementation Plans will be reviewed annually by the state specialist.

Grants that receive a NOT MET rating on any section will be disapproved for funding the following year.
