Students gain skill development in the electronic procedures of producing, editing, publishing, and maintaining documents on the Internet.

BUSINESS WEB PAGE DESIGN
This semester course provides students with an introduction to the Internet. Students will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the Internet and its tools through the use of e-mail, search engines and browsers. HTML and Web publishing software will be used to create, format, illustrate, design, edit, and publish Web pages. Emphasis will be placed on the application of the Internet in business

STANDARD 1
The student will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the Internet and the tools used to access information. 

STANDARD 2
Plan and design a website.

STANDARD 3
The student will use HTML to create attractive Web pages. 

STANDARD 4
The student will use Web design software to create attractive Web pages.

STANDARD 5
The student will create and prepare images to integrate with website designs.  Example image software:  Fireworks, Photoshop, Picasa, Paint, etc.
