Minimum Endorsement Requirements

• Existing CTE/APP, CTE, or Secondary Education License, and
• An assignment that requires the requested endorsement, and
• A bachelor’s degree in Plant/Soil Science, and
• Two (2) years practical industry experience in a related area, and
• Completion of all three USU classes and the USOE workshop listed below.

• A bachelor’s degree in Plant/Soil Science, and
• Two (2) years practical industry experience in a related area, and
• A plan for completing all three USU classes and the USOE workshop listed below.

The Plant/Soil Science and Technology Endorsement allows an educator to teach the following courses:

• Summer Vocational Agriculture Program
• Plant and Soil Science and Technology
• Advanced Plant and Soil Science and Technology
