Testing
In conjunction with other USOE departments, Computer Services provides support for educational reform efforts in statewide assessment and CORE-curriculum evaluation. Extensive test scanning and scoring systems have been developed to support core assessment. They are being used to provide analysis for "end of level" CRT (Criterion Reference Test) testing as well as NRT (Norm Reference Test) testing. Reports produced provide feedback to teachers which enables them to better meet the needs of individual students.
Currently, some districts in the state are using on-line U-Pass Computer-Based Testing in their schools.
