Agency Services
Agency Services provides support and technical assistance to USOE. This includes areas of telecommunications, LAN's (local area networks), security, remote access, maintenance of all servers and databases, email, printers, data entry, application support, and hardware and software consultation.
Custom systems development occurs with the following systems: AIMS (Automated Instructional Materials System), BASE/School Finance (Budget and Accounting System for Education), CACTUS (Computer Assisted Credentials for Teachers in Utah Schools), IRIS (Integrated Rehabilitation Information System), PATI (Program Approval for Technology Instruction), UPASS/DataWarehouse (Utah Performance Assessment of School Students), SSID (Statewide Student Identifier), and others.

The Statewide Student Identifier (SSID) System is web-based and provides a unique, numeric identifier for each student enrolled in a public school. Administration of this identifier is provided by the student's Local Education Agency (LEA), where it is used in SIS, Data Clearinghouse, Testing, and Warehouse data.
