Governing Board Online Training (GBOT)

Thank you for your commitment to professional development as a Utah charter school governing board member. When governing board members commit to individual and whole-board development and training, this best practice is modeled for other members of the school community. While these GBOT modules provide a range of topics and an in depth look at governance and charter school oversight, they should supplement, not supplant, other training opportunities and resources. There is great value in attending training sessions as a team and selecting differentiated training opportunities based on a needs assessment of your governing board.

New modules will be added every other month until there is a library complete with several training modules to train new board members and continue to develop existing board members knowledge of board responsibilities.
