License Renewal - Level 1

To qualify for an upgrade to the Level 2 License, you need to complete the Entry Years Enhancement (EYE) including:

work with a mentor for three years,
complete a portfolio review,
successfully satisfy district/school evaluations for three years in a Utah public or accredited private school, and
achieve a score of 160 or higher on the Praxis II Principles of Learning and Teaching test (#0521, #0522, #0523, or #0524) in the area of educational preparation and assignment.
be NCLB highly qualified in at least one license area or endorsement.

CTE Level 1 license upgrades to a Level 2 need an additional 15 semester credits to renew. Contact the CTE state specialist for specific courses.
