Thank you for your interest in Troops to Teachers. The purpose of Troops to Teachers is to assist eligible military personnel to transition to a new career as public school teachers in targeted schools. Our mission is to provide timely, personalized assistance towards your pursuit of a second career as a public school teacher. Specifically, we will provide you with personalized advising for licensure requirements and identify institutions where courses are available.
Utah Troops to Teachers allows you to teach on a temporary license while you are completing licensure requirements. If you are interested in the Utah TTT program, first contact Myles Judd, the Utah/Nevada director for the Troops to Teachers program.
