ROTC Instructors Certification

A retired commissioned or noncommissioned officer with less than a bachelor's degree or with a bachelor's degree employed by a Utah school district exclusively as an instructor in the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) may be issued a Provisional Applied Technology Certificate with an ROTC Endorsement valid for two years. Upon the recommendation of the employing school district, the provisional certificate may be reissued for five years and thereafter renewed for five year periods upon district recommendation.
