Validation Rules
If the address has changed, you are asked it you want to change the address that was there previously to a prior address.
The zipcode must be numeric unless the country is not the USA. Then a foreign postal code is allowed in the zipcode field with restrictions.
Upper and lower cases are allowed. The user is responsible for entering data with appropriate capitalization. CACTUS will capitalize everything when mailing labels are printed.
How this tab page works
To add the first address, right click and select Add from the pop-up menu. To change an existing address, type over the current address. When you are finished, click on the save icon. You will be asked if you want to move the old address to previous address. If the educator might be reached at the old address, please save it. USOE has drawers full of licenses that are undeliverable.
CACTUS allows you to maintain up to two personal addresses at one time. You may have one current address only or one current and one prior address.
Move between the current and prior address by moving the slider on the right border of the window up and down.
USOE does not publish or otherwise distribute a educators home address and other than licenses, rarely communicate with them other than through their school.
This address information is used for internal correspondence and mailing licenses. All official correspondence, mailing labels, etc., is sent to the educator at their school address.
For mailing labels, the Post Office requires all characters to be capitalized, and no punctuation except a hyphen in the zipcode+4.. For international mail, include the city or town, and province or state name. The applicable foreign postal code, if known, should go on the same line as, and in front of, the city or town name. The country name, in capital letters, should be on the last line of the address for international mail only.
