Elementary Keyboarding Endorsement Individuals responsible for teaching keyboarding in elementary school should have an Elementary Keyboarding Endorsement OR a USOE Elementary Education Keyboarding Certificate authorizing them to teach elementary keyboarding. Individuals must complete a minimum of TWO semester credits as outlined on the on the APPLICATION FOR KEYBOARDING ENDORSEMENTS to earn the ELEMENTARY KEYBOARDING Endorsement. The Endorsement ONLY attaches to the following teacher licenses:
This endorsement authorizes teachers to teach Keyboarding in grades 3 - 6. Secondary Keyboarding Endorsement Secondary Education Licensed teachers with a Business Education degree and a current license are authorized to teach secondary keyboarding classes: 7-12 Keyboarding I and 7-12 Keyboarding Applications. All Other Level 2-licensed teachers must complete 10 semester credits as outlined on the APPLICATION FOR KEYBOARDING ENDORSEMENTS to earn the SECONDARY KEYBOARDING endorsement.
State Approved Endorsement Plan (SAEP) Teachers who HAVE COMPLETED AT LEAST SEVEN (7) OF 10 semester credits
required for the endorsement, may apply for a SAEP. Submit the application
below, transcripts verifying the credits completed, a plan (what courses
and when) for completing the remaining credits, and $15 Endorsement Evaluation
