Introduction to Construction
Content Standards (Abbreviated)
1- Students will investigate careers, explore the impact, identify a variety of construction technologies, and will learn and use safety practices
2- Demonstrate an understanding of the benefits and limitations of construction design
3- Demonstrate basic measurement principles that incorporate applied math applications related to construction practices
4- Identify and use common hand and power tools used in the construction industry
5- Identify the basic applications of specific materials and fasteners in construction systems
 

Sharing Introduction to Construction Lesson Plans using UEN's "Lesson Plan Creation" Tool

To submit a lesson plan you must be registered as a user on UEN. Then through UEN from your private page you can use the "Lesson Plan Creation" tool. Upon completion of the lesson plan submit it by e-mailing its web address to Melvin Robinson. If the Intro to Construction Committee approves it, it will be linked to this web. Click here to see the lesson plan format that has been created to show what lesson fields must be completed.
