Eligibility:     
-- Successful completion of a Utah Department of Health approved EMT training program offered through a    Utah secondary school.
-- Obtain an EMT - Basic Certification from the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.   
         

Information:   
Testing (written and practical assessments), initial certification and background investigation fees are applicable.

Students must be a high school graduate and 18 years of age to be eligible to take the practical assessment. In addition, the practical assessment must be completed within 60 days of the last day of the course.
