This above document is required to be submitted to the school testing coordinator on the day of the test.

The performance evaluation is a required component of the skill certification process. Each student must be evaluated on the required performance objectives. Performance objectives may be completed and evaluated any time during the course.

Information:   
This test consists of 70 scored questions, with an additional 10 pilot questions that will not be scored.

Students who achieve 80% (moderately to highly skilled) on ALL performance objectives and an average of 75% on the tests for 710, 712, 714 and 716 will be issued a Utah Endorsed Medical Assistant Skill Certificate.


The Medical Assistant Skill Certification Application Form must be completed, signed and submitted to the State Specialist for the Utah Endorsed Medical Assistant Certificate.

Students who certify as Medical Assistants through the AAMA (CMA) meet State Skill Certification requirements.  Institutions must provide evidence of AAMA Certification to the CTE Testing Center for recognition of skill certification acquired.
