STUDENT LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATIONS
Student leadership organizations were established with the commitment
to making a positive difference in the lives of young people. In addition
to offering a wide variety of specific career and technical training,
CTE integrates student leadership elements, which complements student
participation in these courses and programs. The
term ”Career and
Technical Student Organizations” (CTSOs) means an organization
for individuals enrolled in a career and technical education program
that engages in leadership activities as an integral part of the
instructional program.
DECA
DECA is an organization that promotes leadership development,
service to the community, and vocational understanding in marketing
education.
