Program Information - English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
The primary focus of this program is for non-native English speakers to become literate in English communication through life-skill curricula for speaking, reading, writing and listening.
The programs are also designed to assist individuals who live in a family or community environment where a language other than English is the dominant language.
An integrated English literacy civics education program may be included assisting immigrants or refugees to acquire the basic skills needed to function as a parent, employee or citizen through citizenship education preparation.
