Center to Advance the Teaching of Technology & Science Guides
The Center to Advance the Teaching of Technology & Science (the Center) was established in 1998 to strengthen professional development and advance technological literacy. Center initiatives are directed toward four goals: development of standards-based curricula; teacher enhancement; research concerning teaching and learning; and curriculum implementation and diffusion.

Standards for Technological Literacy (STL) and Advancing Excellence in Technological Literacy (ATEL)
The International Technology Education Association has developed these companion publications that together articulate a complete set of technological literacy standards and identify a vision for developing a technologically literate citizenry. These standards are being used to develop Utah's Technology and Engineering Education programs.
